How does it work and is it safe?
Platinum Ice 3 Wave Diode Laser treatment in the SHR setting damages hair follicles by repetitive short and gentle energy pulses, these pulses minimise the risk of burning to the skin, as it is the heat build-up which raises the temperature of the dermis to the level needed for preventing hair growth.
SHR has been proven in clinical studies as the safest method of light based hair reduction for all skin types, including dark skin whereby melanin is exponentially more sensitive to the heat used in light based treatments.

Our Platinum Ice 3 Wave Diode Laser is a painless method of hair removal. Compared to other forms of laser treatment, SHR (super hair removal) uses a lower energy method to destroy the hair follicle. Combining this SHR technology with the 3 wave lengths increases the comfortability of this treatment. This is much more gentle on the skin meaning the most you will feel is a warm tingling sensation.

What is Permanent Laser Hair Removal treatment like?

Why do I need a Test Patch?
This is to check your skin suitability and to ensure there are no adverse reactions to the treatment. A period of 2 – 5 days must be left between this and commencement of treatment. Not all clients will require a test patch and this will be assessed within the consultation.
