How does the Laser destroy Acne?
The Laser light permeates the skin tissue to destroy the acne bacteria quickly and easily. At the same time the laser light gently heats the skin around the spots, producing collagen that boosts the healing process causing the spots to disappear.
What results can I expect?
The laser heats up the bacteria and destroys it and therefore lessens the outbreaks. The laser also targets redness from blemishes or scarring on the skin from previous outbreaks. When the laser heats up the skin it stimulates your natural collagen and elastin production which helps with scarring and plumps up the skin to help with the skins texture and overall complexion. So you can expect to see less or no outbreaks, lessened redness, reduced scarring and a better texture and complexion to the skin.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of acne laser treatments necessary varies from person to person but typically after 6 sessions you should see a great result. Treatments are spaced every 2 weeks.

How do I prepare for a treatment?
Patients should avoid tanning on the treatment area roughly one month ahead of treatment to avoid excessive light absorption in the skin. Immediately after the acne laser treatment the skin is particularly sensitive to UV light and strong sunlight should be avoided for at least 2 weeks. High factor sun lotions can be used.
What are the costs likely to be?

Why do I need a Test Patch?

I had adult acne all over my face and it was really getting me down. I had tried lots of creams but kept getting outbreaks. I finally found Resolve clinic to help remove my acne. I had IPL acne removal on my face and some natural acid skin peels. I’m more confident now with clearer skin.
